Description

The Judge Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager for a large Manufacturing Company located in Tarboro, NC. The position offers a salary range of $110,000.00 USD to $125,000.00 USD annually, with full relocation covered. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with 7–10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Operations. Must have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational workflows, and knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma, RCA, DMAIC, TPM, SPC, and other CI methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations and functional leaders to identify improvement opportunities using structured problem-solving methods such as Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Loss Analysis, and DMAIC.
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, enabling data-based decision-making and driving behavioral change throughout the organization.
  • Manage improvement projects, including project planning, execution coaching, results tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Deliver CI training programs (Lean, Belt training, problem-solving tools) tailored to organizational needs and capability levels.
  • Implement and support the site’s Management Operating System (MOS), including tiered meetings, KPI development, standard work, and visual management.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and focused improvement workshops to address systemic issues and accelerate performance gains.
  • Analyze operational losses and develop strategies to achieve breakthrough improvements in cost, quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Develop and execute a CI communication plan to increase visibility, engagement, and alignment around improvement efforts.

Must Have

  • Mandatory Manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7–10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Operations
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational workflows
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma, RCA, DMAIC, TPM, SPC, and other CI methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, from frontline teams to senior leadership
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to support CI initiatives at other locations
