Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead resource for continuous improvement initiatives within assigned operational areas.
- Develop, track, and report performance metrics to support operational excellence and daily performance management.
- Facilitate structured team meetings that drive accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- Utilize business intelligence and data visualization tools (Tableau) to improve KPI reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Support productivity, equipment performance (OEE), and process improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance monitoring.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to resolve operational challenges and prevent recurrence.
- Conduct time studies and workflow analyses to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and balanced workloads.
- Manage short-term improvement projects focused on achieving measurable operational results.
- Implement workplace organization and standardization practices to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity.
- Train and coach employees on continuous improvement methodologies, problem-solving tools, and process improvement practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, process improvement, or continuous improvement roles.
- Experience working directly with production or operational teams required.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools preferred.
- Strong OEE experience/strong experience with Tableau experience.
- Experience leading projects and cross-functional improvement initiatives preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) a plus!
