Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and process optimization expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll drive operational excellence by implementing lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (production, quality, and engineering), coach and mentor teams on lean tools and principles, and lead self-assessments and maturity reviews—and much more.

  • Training and mentoring teams on lean principles and tools (5S, VSM, Kaizen, problem-solving).
  • Supporting leaders and teams in applying lean tools to real operational challenges.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Sharing best practices internally and across other Alstom sites.

All about you

  • Degree in a technical or engineering field (or related discipline).
  • Experience or understanding of lean deployment and continuous improvement leadership within heavy industries (e.g., rail, automotive, aerospace, heavy machinery).
  • Knowledge of lean tools such as 5S, standard work, gemba walks, VSM, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with operational environments involving repetitive production lines and/or shop-floor processes.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to coach senior management and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven, results-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in operational environments with measurable results.
  • Participation in broader CI networks or training deployments (preferred).
  • Experience leading site-level change initiatives or large CI programs (preferred).
  • Ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and share best practices across teams and sites.
