Continuous Improvement Intern

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Intern will support operations and process improvement initiatives by helping organize, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and related documentation within the Acadia system. This role will work closely with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure procedures accurately reflect current operating practices. The intern will also gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations and develop a broader understanding of key production processes.

Responsibilities

• Import SOP’s and other documents into the Acadia system
• Work with operators to ensure current SOP’s are accurate and up to date
• Develop and upload new documents into the Acadia system as needed
• Develop an overall understanding of the operations Processes

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams
• Ability to learn new systems and follow document control procedures
• Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to ask questions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Interest in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, process documentation, or quality systems
