Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op

The Continuous Improvement Engineer Co‑Op is an 8‑month (May 2027‑December 2027) hands‑on, immersive, project‑based experience in R&D and Operations engineering. Co‑Ops work under experienced engineers on real‑world projects in design, testing, manufacturing, or product development, gaining mentorship and industry exposure while contributing to medical device innovations. The role is on‑site in White Bear Lake, MN, with occasional travel to the Fridley, MN location.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support to the optimization of process flows, line layouts, staffing, and workstation design to improve product scalability and accommodate changes in product volume.
- Participate in driving process improvements on new and existing products to improve capability, repeatability, quality, and cost using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Support conducting cost/benefit analysis for changes to processes and/or equipment
