Key Responsibilities

  • Cover thorough evaluations of internal processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
  • Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for functions under review, ensuring they align with organizational goals
  • Absess the current state of processes, gathering data and insights to establish a baseline for improvements
  • Propose measurable goals, objectives, and actionable plans to achieve the desired future state of operational processes
  • Oversee the rollout of process changes, ensuring they are executed effectively and in alignment with improvement goals
  • Monitor and measure the progress of implemented changes, analyzing outcomes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost objectives are met
  • Collect and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and optimize processes post-implementation
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on enhancing safety, quality, throughput, and cost efficiency across the organization
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments, sites, and functions to streamline and standardize shared business processes
  • Engage with process experts, department leaders, and committees to generate innovative improvement ideas and achieve key objectives
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and sharing best practices across teams and sites
  • Ensure continuous improvement initiatives align with organizational priorities and support long-term business objectives
  • Encourage and drive innovative approaches to problem-solving, leveraging advanced methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen
  • Follow all organizational policies and procedures related to safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all improvement projects, including plans, progress reports, and performance metrics

Qualifications

  • Required Education: Bachelor's
  • Required Experience: Typically, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant field, 2-5 years of experience and familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and relevant software tools for data analysis and process mapping
  • Required Competencies/Skills: Ability to follow and give written and verbal directions, capable of meeting deadlines, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment
