Job Description

Copeland is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support the business in constantly looking at ways to perform more efficiently. This person will lead end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, from scoping through sustaining by developing and driving structured implementation plans, including timelines, governance, and performance tracking. They will coach and train teams on Copeland Business System (CBS) tools to build capability and sustain results. This role could expand beyond manufacturing processes, working with project management and operations to make improvements across the organization.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience
  • Quality improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
  • Experience leading Kaizens, Root cause analysis, and Value Stream Mapping
  • Continuous Improvement Management certification
  • Ability to weigh and manage priorities, well organized and with ability to multitask
  • Strong work habits focusing on safety, quality and productivity
  • Proficiency in commonly used and specialized software (Microsoft Suite, including advanced skills with Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced, changing environments
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

Onsite Work Arrangement

This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
