Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEMS) Software Specialist
Job Description
Provide regulatory guidance for CEMS/compliance testing
Provide CEMS regulatory support
Provide CEMS data review
Fleet Central Database Overview and support
Provide troubleshooting expertise for CEMS instruments and controls
Provide excellent communication between plant, EHS and Regional Support
Learn and utilize multiple CEMS DAHS software programs
CEMS datalogger/PLC programing and troubleshooting
Manage emission database
Perform data QA
Provide technical guidance on various CEMS control equipment, datalogger/PLC
Effective and timely communication with plant, corporate environmental, Corp IT and management
Identify CEMS best practices across the fleet and provide continuous improvement concepts and strategies to plants and management
Respond to calls and requests in a safe, timely and consistent manner
Develop relationships with plant teams and corporate environmental
Key Accountabilities

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- 2-3+ years' experience within a CEMS or IT based role OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships in challenging environments
- IT type knowledge, scripts, Microsoft Office skills
- Efficient with Computer Hardware
- MSSQL experience preferred
Background
Position may be based at a Vistra generation site or the Irving TX corporate office.
