Continuity of Operations Specialist
About the role
Work side-by-side with Intelligence Community and Department of War senior leaders providing strategic support that enhances continuity of operations. Utilize your leadership and technical expertise to provide advisory and implementation support to continuity planning efforts by preparing for, mitigating, and responding to mission impacts during exercises and real-world events. Collaborate with subject matter experts across the enterprise to refine business continuity of operations plans, conduct business process analysis, assess business impacts, analyze data, develop strategic plans, and revise policies and procedures vital to continuing the client's mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead small teams and projects, contribute to team deliverables
- Develop clear and effective written and verbal communication products for senior leaders utilizing Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Contribute to team deliverables
- Develop written reports and briefs for executive-level audiences
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience providing continuity of operations support to the federal government
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks with competing timelines
- Ability to develop clear and effective written and verbal communication products for senior leaders utilizing Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain a Professional Development Series, Professional Continuity Practitioner, or Associate Business Continuity Professional Certification within 6 months of start date
Skills
- Experience leading small teams and developing strategic plans
- Knowledge of Federal Continuity Directives

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings.
