Continuing Education Instructor - Zumba

About the role

The Continuing Education team at Kennedy-King College is community-focused, innovative, and committed to offering accessible wellness and enrichment opportunities beyond traditional academic courses. Kennedy-King College is seeking a part-time Zumba Instructor that will lead high-energy, engaging fitness classes for adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, high-energy Zumba classes
• Engage with community members and adult learners
• Help participants reach fitness and wellness goals
• Be part of a growing Continuing Education wellness Program

Requirements

• Familiar with class facilitation and time management
• Participant engagement and motivation
• Safety awareness and class structure
• Playing music via Bluetooth/sound systems
• Basic email communication
• Attendance tracking (paper or digital rosters)

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher
• Certified Zumba Instructor (ZIN preferred)
• Strong group facilitation and motivational skills
• Knowledge of fitness safety and injury prevention
• Ability to work with diverse age groups and fitness levels
• Strong communication and time-management skills
