Contingent Critical Care / ICU | Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant | Henry Ford Health

Position Overview

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a contingent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care team, primarily based at the Detroit Main Campus. This role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of complex conditions.

Qualifications

• Acute Care Certified
• Current Michigan licensure
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
• BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire)
• 2 Years Experience Inpatient Medicine, ED, ICU

Licensure

• Nurse Practitioner: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required)
• Physician Assistant: Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required)

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required (may be obtained after hire)
