Contents Technician

About the role

The Contents Technician is an integral part of the BluSky Team, skilled in completing complex contents cleaning tasks for both residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all restoration facets, including:
  • Pack outs
  • On-location cleaning
  • Content processing and deodorization
  • Cleaning of upholstery and carpets
  • Content storage and handling
  • Water mitigation
  • Microbial remediation
  • Structural board-up and security
  • Proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel
• Photo documentation of content condition prior to onsite packing
• Completion of necessary paperwork, including emergency mitigation spec sheets, daily project summaries, moisture tracking logs, diagrams, work authorizations, and inventories
• Management and maintenance of content cleaning and storage areas to professional standards
• Representation on BluSky emergency mitigation on-call management rotation
• Provision of the highest level of customer service
• Adherence to all company Best Practices
• All other duties or projects as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Computer skills (computer and handheld mobile devices)
• Ability to work well with a team of subcontractors and employees
• Self-starter with great organizational and planning skills
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
• Regular movement and walking around the office or field sites
• Minimal travel (less than 10% of time), including some out-of-area and overnight travel for training or meetings
