Contents Technician

About the Role

The Contents Technician is an integral part of the BluSky Team, skilled in completing complex contents cleaning tasks for both residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Field Duties:
  • Proficient in all restoration facets including pack outs, on-location cleaning, content processing/deodorization, cleaning of upholstery and carpets, content storage/handling, water mitigation, microbial remediation, and structural board-up and security
  • Proper handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel
  • Photo documentation of overall condition of content prior to onsite packing
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork including emergency mitigation spec sheets, daily project summaries, moisture tracking logs, diagrams, work authorizations, and inventories
  • Management and maintenance of content cleaning area and storage areas to the highest professional standards
• General Responsibilities:
  • Representation on BluSky emergency mitigation on-call management rotation
  • Providing the highest level of customer service
  • Adherence to all company Best Practices
  • All other duties or projects as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Computer skills (computer and handheld mobile devices)
• Ability to work well with a team of subcontractors/employees
• Self-starter with great organizational and planning skills
• High School Graduate or equivalent

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The work environment is usually quiet. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee is required to regularly move and walk around the office.

Travel

Minimal travel (less than 10% of time). Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
