About the role
The Senior Content Writer I for CrowdStrike Intelligence is a vital member of the Global Threat Analysis Cell (GTAC) within CrowdStrike Counter Adversary Operations. This role focuses on the creation and development of finished intelligence reports that inform and support cybersecurity defense strategies. The successful candidate will transform complex, data-driven intelligence—including raw intrusion data, internal datasets, and finished reports—into clear, compelling narratives tailored for diverse audiences such as executive stakeholders, technical defenders, and strategic partners. The role requires a keen analytical mindset to identify trends, patterns, and adversarial activities, translating these insights into well-structured, audience-appropriate content.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize complex intelligence data from sources such as raw intrusion logs, internal datasets, and finished reports into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Produce regular intelligence reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, and contribute to annual flagship publications
- Identify and analyze trends and patterns across datasets, applying analytical skills to surface significant insights
- Create statistical summaries and data visualizations to support written narratives and demonstrate adversarial trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including intelligence analysts, to gather insights and ensure accuracy and depth in reporting
- Manage workload proactively, exercising sound judgment to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Contribute to the development and refinement of AI-assisted analysis and writing workflows, helping to establish best practices
- Stay current with cybersecurity threats, adversary tactics, and industry trends to inform content creation
- Assist in the continuous improvement of intelligence reporting processes and storytelling techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity, or related analytical writing environments
- Proven ability to analyze quantitative data sets and qualitative reports to identify meaningful trends
- Exceptional original writing skills, capable of producing polished, audience-specific content from source material
- Experience working independently with sound judgment on when to escalate issues
- Enthusiasm for AI writing and analysis tools, with a willingness to develop team-wide best practices
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and leverage subject matter expertise
- Effective time management skills, including prioritization and adaptability to meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of technical and cybersecurity terminology
- Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, workflows, and efficiency
- Educational background in cyber intelligence, data science, communications, political science, or related fields; undergraduate degree preferred
- Relevant military training or professional experience in writing or content creation is a plus
