Our nonprofit client is seeking an experienced Freelance Content Writer to support the relaunch and growth of its content program. This writer will partner closely with the marketing team to create engaging, long-form content covering topics. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with financial services expertise who can make complex topics accessible to sophisticated audiences.This is a remote, ongoing freelance opportunity with an estimated workload of 2 articles per month initially, with the potential for increased volume over time.Content Writer Responsibilities: - Write educational blog content (approximately 1,200 words per article) for donors and financial advisors. - Turn detailed briefs and subject matter expertise into clear, engaging, publication-ready content. - Research and write about topics including charitable giving strategies, tax-efficient philanthropy, estate planning, wealth management, and advisor-focused financial topics. - Adapt content to align with an established brand voice that balances professionalism, expertise, and warmth. - Revise content based on stakeholder feedback and collaborate with marketing and digital teams throughout the review process. - Contribute to the growth of a newly revitalized content program with a strong backlog of topics already identified.What We're Looking For: - Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts. - Professional writing experience within financial services, wealth management, investment management, banking, insurance, tax, estate planning, or related industries. - Portfolio showcasing long-form blog content, articles, thought leadership pieces, or educational content. - Ability to write for financially sophisticated audiences, including investors, donors, executives, or financial advisors. - Strong research skills and the ability to quickly learn industry-specific subject matter. - Familiarity with SEO/AEO best practices and digital content writing, though deep technical expertise is not required. - Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver polished drafts with minimal oversight.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.Benefits Email Your Resume In Word To Jennifer.Scott@jobalert.creativecircle.com Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
