About the role

The SERVPRO Team When disaster strikes a home or business, people don’t just lose a building—they worry about losing their memories, keepsakes, and everyday essentials. As a Contents Technician, you are the hero who steps in to salvage, clean, and return those treasured items.

Responsibilities

• Pack-Out: Carefully inventory, wrap, and pack up customers' personal belongings to transport them safely to our facility.
• Restoration: Use our state-of-the-art industrial cleaning and washing systems to restore soft goods, clothes, and cherished items back to pre-loss condition.
• Organize & Protect: Keep our warehouse and processing areas clean, organized, and running smoothly.
• Pack-Back: Safely deliver and set up restored items back in the customer’s home, bringing a sense of normalcy back to their lives.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work hand-in-hand with your crew supervisor and fellow technicians to get the job done right.

Requirements

• An Eye for Detail: You treat other people's belongings with the same care and respect you'd give your own.
• Reliability: You have dependable transportation to and from our Allentown warehouse.
• Physical Stamina: You are comfortable standing, walking, and moving for long periods, and can regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safety First: You are comfortable working around cleaning products and strictly following safety guidelines.
• A Great Attitude: You’re a team player who is ready to learn and grow with us.
