About the role

The Content Strategist, Social & YouTube will elevate Huron’s brand by driving compelling storytelling across social and digital platforms. This role focuses on creating, executing, and measuring social-first content that supports multi-channel marketing campaigns with a growth-minded approach. Initially, you’ll manage the content calendar, produce and adapt content across channels, and maintain posting cadence. As Huron’s YouTube presence matures, this role will expand in 2027 to include greater ownership of YouTube channel strategy and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop social-first content, including short-form video, static graphics, carousels, and animations across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Manage the content calendar across channels, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and enterprise priorities.
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence across social channels, coordinating timing and frequency with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, marketing, HR, and business stakeholders to align social content with broader messaging and campaign objectives.
  • Research emerging trends, formats, and best practices in social media to keep Huron differentiated and forward-looking.
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics, audience engagement, and channel growth.
  • Support internal enablement by creating post templates and prompts for Huron leaders and teams to increase employee advocacy on social.
  • Apply principles of audience targeting, content personalization, and customer journey alignment.
  • Align content with the full funnel of brand building, from awareness through engagement to conversion, supporting Huron’s position as a strategic advisor.
  • Bring YouTube-specific knowledge to day-to-day content decisions, including channel structure, format choices, and platform best practices, to lay the groundwork for broader YouTube strategy ownership in 2027.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in a creative or content marketing role, with demonstrated capabilities in multimedia content creation.
  • Demonstrated YouTube experience or knowledge (e.g., building, growing, or managing channels) strongly preferred, with an interest in expanding YouTube strategy ownership over time.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment (agency or in-house preferred).
  • B2B experience preferred; professional services exposure a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Creative and strategic thinking, showcased through a curated portfolio of past work highlighting visual storytelling, brand engagement, and channel growth.
  • Strong design and video editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Rush), Canva, and CapCut.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of social copy and branded content across platforms.
  • Adept at utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to accelerate process efficiency and production workflows.
  • Social media channel management experience using platforms like Sprout, including scheduling tools and analytics.
  • Proven ability to manage content calendars, plan campaigns, and coordinate cross-functional input.
  • Experience with collaboration/project management platforms like Wrike.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative instincts paired with a strategic understanding of audience needs and platform dynamics.
  • Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a growth-oriented approach.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this job is $85,000 - $115,000. The range reflects a good-faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on skills, certifications, experience, market changes, and required travel. This role is also eligible for Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, with a total estimated compensation range of $97,750 - $132,250 (inclusive of incentive opportunity).
