About the role
Bring your content expertise to a role focused on shaping thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences across web platforms. In this position, you’ll combine strategy and hands-on writing to create clear, engaging, and accessible content for a wide range of audiences while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital content strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
- Create and refine web content, landing pages, headlines, body copy, UX microcopy, calls to action, and messaging frameworks.
- Collaborate with product, UX, design, marketing, engineering, and other stakeholders to support cohesive user journeys.
- Use research, analytics, user feedback, and testing insights to improve content effectiveness over time.
- Apply SEO best practices to improve discoverability and support organic search performance.
- Ensure content follows accessibility standards and supports inclusive, usable digital experiences.
- Help establish and maintain content governance standards, editorial guidelines, and best practices.
- Support optimization efforts through experimentation, A/B testing, and ongoing performance review.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, content design, digital content, or a related discipline.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create concise, engaging, and user-friendly content.
- Experience developing digital-first content that serves multiple audiences and channels.
- Working knowledge of SEO, information architecture, UX writing, and user-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, including WCAG, and a commitment to inclusive content practices.
- Experience using analytics, research, and testing to guide content decisions and improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, academic medicine, or another regulated environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise content management systems.
- Experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Knowledge of A/B testing platforms and content experimentation methods.
- Experience supporting large website redesigns or digital transformation initiatives.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $33 - $67 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
