About the Role
We are seeking both Senior and Lead Content Specialists to join our Marketing Division. These roles are crucial in producing and executing high-quality content across digital and print channels, ensuring alignment with our brand strategy, and supporting our marketing objectives.
Responsibilities
Senior Content Specialist:
- Draft, edit, and proofread clear, compelling, and error-free copy for digital and offline channels, including emails, website landing pages, and internal platform announcements.
- Coordinate the execution of routine marketing communications, ensuring timely delivery and accurate formatting.
- Act as a central point of contact for routine direct-mail requests, coordinating with stakeholders to meet production and distribution timelines.
- Assist in developing and formatting content for various digital formats, maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Proactively manage day-to-day updates for the company website and internal platforms, ensuring content relevance and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot minor platform or web issues and coordinate with technical stakeholders for complex resolutions.
- Support the compliance review process, maintain archives of approved materials, and assist with marketing policy implementation.
- Manage project tracking systems and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth production workflows.
Lead Content Specialist:
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of high-quality content for online and offline channels, aligning with brand strategy and company objectives.
- Manage the editorial calendar, oversee the content development process, and partner with stakeholders to craft compelling messages.
- Write clear, error-free, and brand-consistent content for websites, emails, and internal platforms.
- Strategically manage web updates and content enhancements, optimizing the user experience and aligning with industry best practices.
- Audit content regularly, coordinate digital promotion efforts, and troubleshoot web and platform issues.
- Maintain a comprehensive marketing archive, collaborate on compliance, and support the Compliance Department during audits.
- Track content performance metrics, generate insightful reports, and act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors.
Qualifications
Senior Content Specialist:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, content coordination, or digital production.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms preferred.
Lead Content Specialist:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred; Master’s Degree preferred.
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in marketing communications, content management, or digital production.
- Demonstrated experience with web CMS, email platforms, and project management tools (e.g., Asana/HubSpot) required.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and marketing best practices.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to perform light physical work and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment and software.
- Clear communication and ability to work in a conventional office setting.
