About the role
The Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of company equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on company equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment running efficiently
- Document service requests and resolutions in the company's IT helpdesk system
- Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot complex problems
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a technical support role
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel as needed
