Content Specialist
About the role
This is a hybrid role based out of our Support Center in Franklin, TN, with Monday through Thursday in the office and Fridays as designated work-from-home days.
Responsible for developing content strategies and related collateral. Primary focus on promoting brand awareness, fostering engagement, and generating leads. Writes high-quality copy and content across multiple formats, such as blog posts, videos, infographics, email content, ad copy, and more.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with the Senior Manager, Content Marketing to develop content strategies, with a primary focus on promoting brand awareness, fostering engagement, and generating leads.
- Writing high-quality copy and content across multiple formats, such as blog posts, videos, infographics, email content, ad copy, and more.
- Editing content, addressing spelling, grammar, punctuation, or inconsistency with our brand voice and guidelines.
- Collaborating with team members to create multimedia content or persuasive copy that resonates with our audience.
- Managing content calendars, deadlines, and workflows to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Creating and optimizing content for search engines (SEO) to boost search rankings.
- Conducting research on relevant topics to verify credibility of content.
- Staying up to date on digital marketing best practices, emerging trends, and new tools or technologies relevant to content creation and distribution.

Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a similar field.
- Demonstrated experience (4+ years) of content writing and copywriting, supported by a portfolio of published work.
Skills and abilities
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Highly creative with meticulous attention to detail across multiple channels and formats.
- Knowledge of basic HTML.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for optimizing content and increasing online visibility.
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Articulate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who can establish and maintain relationships with individuals across the organization.
- Proficient in crafting comprehensive briefs for agency/partner collaborations.
Physical demands and working conditions
Regularly required to: sit, stand, and walk; use hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach; speak and hear; use close vision abilities. Occasionally required to: lift or move up to 25 lbs.; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Noise level: Low to moderate. Adverse conditions: Minimal.
Pay
$54,983.00 - $91,638.00. This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
