Content Producer
About the role
At Ozobot, we build tools that give K–8 teachers the absolute confidence to bring hands-on learning into any subject because we believe every student deserves to experience the magic of coding. We aren't here to pitch tech; we're here to support classrooms. We are looking for a Content Producer to help us share these real, impactful stories. In this role, you will use your video editing and design skills to show, rather than just tell, what happens when a student finally has that "aha!" moment. Join us in crafting purposeful content that sparks curiosity in students and builds real confidence in the teachers and parents guiding them.
Responsibilities
- Use video editing and design skills to create compelling content that showcases real classroom experiences and student learning moments.
- Craft purposeful, human-centered narratives for both short-form and in-depth video content.
- Apply core design principles to produce clean, readable assets that support messaging.
- Collaborate with teams to refine narratives, incorporate feedback, and solve creative challenges efficiently.
- Manage the full post-production workflow, including media management, editing (Premiere Pro), motion graphics (After Effects), color grading, audio editing, and final delivery.
- Develop custom motion graphics, text, lower thirds, and subtle animations using After Effects or similar tools.
- Enhance raw footage through audio cleanup, volume balancing, and color grading to reflect authentic classroom environments.
- Leverage AI-assisted workflows (e.g., Higgsfield AI, Luma Labs AI, CapCut, Adobe AI) to streamline production tasks such as rapid edits, asset resizing, auto-captioning, and audio cleanup.
- Design visually appealing assets, including thumbnails for Instagram and YouTube, using tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Translate educational content and coding products authentically for our audience, ensuring content empowers rather than intimidates teachers.
Qualifications
- Intuitive storytelling: Ability to craft compelling, human narratives with natural pacing and rhythm, whether for short reels or in-depth videos.
- Foundational design sense: Strong grasp of core design principles, including layout, typography, and visual hierarchy, to create clean, readable assets.
- Collaborative problem-solving: Clear communication, constructive feedback reception, and creative solutions to refine narratives while meeting deadlines.
- Passion for hands-on learning: Genuine desire to learn and deeply understand educational content and coding products to translate them authentically.
- Empathy for the classroom: Commitment to creating content that leaves teachers feeling more capable and never intimidated.
Skills
- Proficiency in post-production workflows, including media management, editing (Premiere Pro), motion graphics (After Effects), color grading, audio editing, and final delivery.
- Experience creating purposeful motion graphics, including custom text, lower thirds, and animations using After Effects or similar software.
- Technical expertise in cleaning up dialogue, balancing audio levels, and color grading to achieve a polished, authentic look and sound.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows (e.g., Higgsfield AI, Luma Labs AI, CapCut, Adobe AI) for efficient video editing, asset resizing, auto-captioning, and audio cleanup.
- High proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for creating visually appealing assets like thumbnails.
