Content Producer
The Senior Content Producer will lead content production across multiple brands and platforms, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of video, photography, and interactive assets. This role partners closely with creative, strategy, and account teams to scope, plan, and execute complex productions from concept through final delivery.

You will manage production budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships while mentoring junior producers and maintaining best-in-class production standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, has deep expertise in both traditional and digital content production, and can navigate the nuances of multiple client brands simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end production for video, photo, and digital content projects, including live-action shoots, post-production, and asset delivery.
- Develop and manage production budgets ranging from $50k–$500k, tracking costs and reconciling actuals against estimates.
- Create detailed production schedules, call sheets, and shot lists; manage timelines across multiple concurrent projects.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors including production companies, directors, photographers, editors, sound designers, and studios.
- Partner with creative teams to evaluate creative concepts for feasibility, providing production input during brief development and ideation.
- Conduct location scouts, manage permits, and oversee all on-set production logistics including talent, catering, and equipment.
- Review and approve all creative deliverables at each milestone, ensuring they meet creative brief objectives, brand guidelines, and technical specifications.
- Manage asset delivery and trafficking, including versioning for multiple channels (broadcast, social, digital, OOH, internal).
- Lead post-production workflows including offline/online edits, color grading, audio mixing, and finishing.
- Mentor and guide junior producers and production coordinators, providing feedback and professional development support.
- Maintain production archives and oversee rights management for music, talent, and licensed content.
- Participate in new business pitches by scoping production estimates and presenting production capabilities to prospective clients.
Requirements
- 7+ years of production experience in an advertising agency, creative studio, or brand-side content team.
- Proven track record producing large-scale video and photo shoots, including campaigns with multiple deliverables and channels.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing production budgets of $250k+ and reconciling complex cost reports.
- Deep understanding of post-production workflows, codecs, file formats, and delivery specifications for broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
- Experience working with talent unions (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA) and navigating union contracts and paperwork.
- Proficiency with production management tools (e.g., ShotGrid, Frame.io, Wrike, or similar) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for review purposes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility to travel for shoots and work occasional evenings/weekends as production schedules require.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated portfolio of produced work spanning multiple brands and content types (video, photo, interactive).
- Knowledge of current production trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content creation.
- Experience producing content for automotive, CPG, or technology clients is a plus.
