About the role
Our team is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to lead the day-to-day operation of our organic content engine. This role involves managing the organic editing team, overseeing the YouTube channel, and ensuring all content is produced and published on time.
Responsibilities
- Run the day-to-day operation of the organic content engine across YouTube (long-form) and short-form (Shorts, Reels, TikTok)
- Manage the organic editing team day-to-day: hiring, onboarding, scheduling, deadlines, workflow, and throughput
- Own execution of the organic content calendar and the publishing cadence across all channels
- YouTube channel management: uploads, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, playlists, cards and end screens, and community
- Oversee testimonial video production, from pipeline to publish
- Run split testing across YouTube (thumbnails, titles, hooks) and hand clean results back to the Social Media Growth Strategist and the Paid team
- Track organic performance, report weekly, and feed winning hooks, themes, and formats back to the Strategist and the Paid team
- Coordinate SEO tasks and website hygiene, including blog operations and website consolidation
- Coordinate FTC compliance checks across organic content and funnels, and flag legal risk to leadership
- Drive the quarterly planning cadence and monthly sweeps across the organic org
- Create SOPs and repeatable workflows so the organic engine runs on reliable systems rather than one-off effort
Requirements
- Experience 3+ years running content operations, content production, or a YouTube/organic channel in an async, remote-first environment
- Proven experience managing or coordinating a video editing team: hiring, scheduling, deadlines, and quality throughput
- Comfortable building SOPs, content calendars, and repeatable production workflows
- Analytics literate: comfortable reading channel and content performance data and acting on it
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website/blog management (preferred)
- Background in info-products, high-ticket coaching, or online education (preferred)
Who You Are
- A systems-minded operator who builds repeatable processes rather than one-off fixes
- Organized and reliable, comfortable holding a team and a calendar to deadlines
- Detail-oriented enough to catch a compliance issue, a broken workflow, or a slipping deadline before it becomes a problem
- Self-directed: you see what needs doing and do it without being told
- A clear communicator who runs tight processes and keeps workstreams on track
- Async-first: you work well in Slack and Loom without needing constant check-ins
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve reporting, workflow, and operational speed
What Winning Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- A consistent organic publishing cadence is live across YouTube, Shorts, Instagram, and TikTok, running on schedule without last-minute scrambles
- The editing team is clear on standards, deadlines, and workflow, and consistently ships on time to the Strategist's creative direction
- Long-form content is reliably turned into a steady stream of published short-form, with nothing stuck in the pipeline
- Weekly organic performance reporting is live and used by the organic team to decide what to make more of
- SEO, compliance, reputation, and planning cadences are documented and running rather than reactive
- At least one SOP or workflow is shipped that removes recurring manual work from the team
