Content Marketing Manager - Growth Marketing
About the role
We're looking for a skilled content marketer with sharp writing instincts and a demand gen mindset to join our Growth Marketing team. In this role, you'll create compelling short and long-form content that moves audiences to act—from email and SDR sequences to landing pages, social copy, and campaign assets (guides, ebooks, survey reports, etc.). You're a storyteller who leads with customer pain points and value propositions, speaking to the specific challenges of your audience rather than just product features. You know how to distill complex B2B topics into crisp, engaging copy that resonates across the buyer journey. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where strong writing, cross-functional partnership, and data-informed decisions are equally valued.
This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Content Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality short and long-form content across multiple formats, including landing pages, marketing and SDR emails, social copy, and campaign assets.
- Craft persona-driven copy that leads with audience pain points and business challenges, connecting product value to what buyers actually care about.
- Engage internal subject matter experts, customers, industry leaders, and partners to develop content with an emphasis on authentic storytelling.
- Translate complex product and industry topics into clear, engaging copy that meets personas where they are in their journey.
- Review and provide recommendations to optimize the demand gen potential of short-form copy across channels.
- Develop and apply a deep understanding of buyer personas, their goals, and pain points to inform content strategy and copy decisions.
- Align content plans to the editorial calendar and campaign goals, ensuring copy supports pipeline objectives.
- Partner with the communications team to support brand positioning and messaging creation.
- Utilize performance data to drive content insights and contribute to quarterly planning.
- Test and optimize content types and messaging based on audience engagement.
- Lead cross-functional content projects from brief to delivery, managing timelines and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with campaign, lifecycle, digital, field, and partner marketing teams to activate content across the right channels.
- Manage the content library and contribute to regular audits and updates.
- Navigate localization workflows for key content assets.
- Take on other projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of content marketing experience, with a strong portfolio of short and long-form B2B copy (emails, landing pages, social, ebooks, guides, reports).
- Proven ability to write persona-driven content that leads with customer pain points and business outcomes rather than product features.
- Proven ability to write across formats and tones, from punchy CTAs to nuanced narrative-driven content.
- Experience working in or closely alongside demand gen or campaign teams in a SaaS/tech environment.
- Comfort using data to inform content decisions and optimize performance over time.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Communicates as clearly out loud as on the page—can walk a stakeholder through a content decision or defend a draft in a meeting, not just in written comments.
- Treats AI as a drafting and productivity aid, not a replacement for thinking. You understand the material well enough to defend every line and prefer short, sharp content over long, padded copy.
Benefits
- Employer-subsidized medical, vision, and dental coverage for full-time employees.
- 401k match (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay).
- Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity.
- Flexible Time Away Program, plus Sick Time Off.
- 12 paid holidays per year for US employees.
- Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave.
- Personal paid Volunteer Day to support your community.

- Company-funded perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account.
