CONTENT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (MARKETING)

Job Summary

Join NEXCOM for an exciting 18-month project supporting Ecommerce, digital content, and enterprise marketing operations in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This short-term position offers benefits and is eligible for remote work.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in the collecting, organizing, formatting and editing of copy/content for print media, using a Macintosh workstation and Adobe Creative Suite software.
• Affords assistance in the development and implementation of copy standards and processes.
• Proofs for accuracy of content and corrects as needed.
• Affords assistance in organizing media into correct channels/versions of media.
• Affords assistance in ensuring all standards/formatting styles are adhered to in all media.
• Affords assistance in organizing and exporting of Ad Database Content using a PC-Workstation.
• Affords adherence to fast-paced content and project schedule.
• Affords management of a content and project schedule.
• Affords assistance in tracking content/assets where necessary.
• Affords coordination with the web producer and the rest of the web team.
• Affords assistance in the collecting, organizing, formatting and editing of all image content for print and digital media.
• Works closely with Merchandising group, Products and Promotions teams to ensure all content is submitted in accordance with turn-in meetings and content/project schedules.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

General Experience

3 years experience in administrative professional technical or other responsible work that required the applicant to demonstrate proficient skill in coordinating and managing project schedules, communication, writing and editing, and organization, and the ability to work with multiple teams, departments, and coordinate different projects.

Substitution of Education for Experience

Up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, Multimedia, or other related fields for 3 years of general experience.

Specialized Experience

One year of experience in web content creation or management including experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes or e-mail software, basic knowledge of HTML and other web-based technologies, and four-color process printing processes.
