About the role
The Social Content Creator will run the full creative pipeline of a piece of social content end to end, from concept to publish, and will appear on camera as one of the faces of the Seeking brand. This is a hands-on role where you will independently ideate, create, edit, and publish content across various social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging short-form and long-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X/Twitter.
- Appear on camera regularly in social videos, livestreams, and branded content.
- Independently shoot, edit, and package social-first content with fast turnaround times.
- Produce polished, high-performing video edits using platform-native styles, trending formats, motion graphics, captions, transitions, sound design, and pacing optimized for engagement.
- Design compelling social graphics, thumbnails, text overlays, meme content, and promotional assets for social distribution.
- Use AI creative tools to generate images, concepts, visual assets, thumbnails, and content variations that enhance social storytelling and production efficiency.
- Monitor social trends, memes, creators, and emerging platform behaviors to proactively identify viral content opportunities.
- Develop content concepts that align with trending conversations while maintaining brand voice and positioning.
- Absorb and assist in building monthly social content calendars and campaign concepts for brand and executive social channels.
- Create weekly trend and competitive analysis reports to support content strategy and creative direction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to execute campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Stay current on evolving social platform algorithms, editing trends, AI creative tools, and creator best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience creating social-first content for brands, creators, or media platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video editing, social graphics, and content creation across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Advanced proficiency in video editing software including CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
- Strong graphic design and social asset creation skills using Canva, Photoshop, Figma, or similar tools.
- Experience creating motion graphics, animated captions, text treatments, and platform-native video enhancements.
- Hands-on experience using AI creative tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, DALL·E, Runway, Adobe Firefly, or similar AI image/video generation platforms.
- Strong understanding of internet culture, meme formats, creator ecosystems, and viral storytelling mechanics.
- Ability to concept, storyboard, shoot, edit, and publish content independently.
- Strong creative instincts with an understanding of performance-driven content strategy.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment with rapid content turnaround expectations.
- Must be able to travel for team meetings, shoots, company events, and project needs.
- Comfortable with occasional required evening or weekend support during launches, events, or major campaigns.
Preferred
- Experience growing brand social media accounts with measurable engagement or audience growth.
- Experience with photography, lighting, and mobile-first content production.
- Familiarity with social analytics tools and performance reporting.
- Experience working in lifestyle, entertainment, dating, or creator-driven brands.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation: $55,000 – $70,000 annually, set above market for the role.
