About the role
The Content Coordinator is responsible for collecting, producing, and posting engaging digital content. The ideal candidate should possess excellent photography, videography, and production skills, and display proven social media savvy. This role also supports other marketing projects as assigned. The position requires skiing or snowboarding at an intermediate level or above and on-site availability, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Capture and produce video and photo content that highlights Loon.
- Utilize digital asset management tools to ensure easy access to content after creation.
- Update website and social media channels with pertinent mountain operations information and timely photo and video content.
- Assist with photo and video shoots as assigned.
- Support the Communications Manager with media-related duties, including organizing media visits and press tours.
- Provide photo and video assets to other resort departments when needed.
- Prioritize safety for self, co-workers, and guests at all times.
- Report harmful equipment, situations, accidents, or incidents to the immediate supervisor without delay.
- Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
- Operate equipment safely to prevent injury to yourself or others.
- Drive in accordance with the law and Loon Mountain policies.
- Ski or snowboard at an intermediate or advanced ability level, staying within suggested routes while on the clock unless directed otherwise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Extensive computer usage, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, and other web-based programs.
- Drone Certificate is preferred.
- No supervisory responsibilities are associated with this role.
