Key Responsibilities
- Elevate Potomac's Brand Narrative
- Help define and evolve Potomac's brand voice, messaging framework, and narrative strategy
- Ensure consistency across all internal and external communications
- Develop messaging that clearly articulates Potomac's value proposition and differentiators
- Partner with leadership to strengthen the firm's market positioning
- Drive Content Strategy
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives
- Create content plans that support advisor engagement, lead generation, brand awareness, and retention efforts
- Identify opportunities to leverage content across multiple channels and audiences
- Ensure content supports broader sales and marketing initiatives
- Create High-Impact Content
- Write and edit compelling content across a variety of formats, including:
- Thought leadership articles
- Advisor communications
- Marketing campaigns
- Website content
- Email campaigns
- Sales enablement materials
- Executive messaging
- Social media content
- Presentation materials
- Video scripts
- Translate complex investment concepts into clear, persuasive, and accessible messaging
- Create content that balances educational value with business objectives
- Measure and Improve Performance
- Monitor content performance and audience engagement metrics
- Use data and insights to refine messaging and content strategy
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and impact
- Stay informed on industry trends, content best practices, and evolving advisor needs
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in content strategy, brand marketing, communications, copywriting, or a related field
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
- Experience developing content strategies that support business growth objectives
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling content across multiple channels and formats
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation and content performance measurement
- Experience collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Preferred Experience
- In financial services, asset management, wealth management, or a related industry
- Familiarity with advisor-focused marketing and distribution models
- Experience supporting executive thought leadership programs
- Understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, and digital marketing channels
