Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in controlled environments based on customer-specific requirements.
• Adhere to proper personnel hygiene and behaviors to maintain cleanliness in controlled environments.
• Follow and refer to customer-specific work instructions for cleaning and controlled environment requirements.
• Complete supporting records and forms as required.

Requirements

• Ability to read a limited number of two- to three-syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.
• Basic mathematical skills: addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers, multiplication and division with 10s and 100s, and ability to perform operations using American units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand and move about a facility.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

• Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; must follow established procedures.
• Must adhere to customer-specific procedures to avoid contamination of cleanroom environments.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
