About the role
A Containment Installer III is responsible for the day-to-day installation of containment materials, following clear direction from the site supervisor while maintaining the assigned work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
- Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tape) to assemble and secure components.
- Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
- Inspect and s completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
- Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical or construction skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in construction, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus.
- High School diploma
- 1-3 years mechanical experience required
- 1-2 years data center experience required
- Must be a US Citizen
Skills
- Knowledge in Microsoft Suite applications such as: Excel, Word, and Outlook is a plus.
