About the role

Contact Center Representatives at AWL help connect consumers with licensed insurance agents in real-time. The role is remote and involves engaging in both inbound and outbound calls, completing follow-up calls, and communicating with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in inbound and outbound calls with consumers looking to compare insurance rates.
  • Ask qualifying questions to match consumers with the best insurance agent for their needs.
  • Complete follow-up calls to inquire about the consumer's experience and ensure their needs were met.
  • Help consumers get connected with the right agent and record information about their experience.
  • Remain in frequent communication with leadership through chat.

Requirements

  • Superior verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable defusing escalated situations, remaining courteous and patient.
  • Competent computer skills.
  • Receptive to coaching.
  • Strong written communication skills (spelling, grammar, punctuation).
  • Multi-tasker.
  • Punctual and dependable.

Qualifications

  • You must reside and work in the state of Texas.
  • You must maintain a quiet background.
  • We occasionally complete screenshares to provide coaching opportunities.
  • This is a high-volume call center with calls around 5 seconds apart.
  • We have multiple shifts to choose from, with a SET schedule of 20+ hours per week.
  • Our hours of operation are from 7am-8:30pm (M-F), 9am-6pm (Sat) and 11am-6pm (Sun).

Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in using computers and software.
  • Open to learning and feedback.
  • Strong writing abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

Compensation details are provided upon hire.

Schedule

The schedule is SET and includes 20+ hours per week, with hours ranging from 7am-8:30pm (M-F), 9am-6pm (Sat) and 11am-6pm (Sun).
