Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist: III (Senior)

Job Summary

Supports the department working on packaged loan sales and transitions loan packages to a third-party servicing institution. Manages up to 5 loan packages (deals) starting weekly, each maturing at different times.

Responsibilities

• Works with internal colleagues, customers, investors, and vendors
• Participates in daily scrum calls to discuss process improvements
• Reviews and ensures compliance with regulatory/compliance requirements, including servicing transfer notifications to borrowers
• Utilizes an Excel spreadsheet as a project/deal template to drive and capture work
• Performs peer-reviewed reviews of notifications to ensure accuracy and completeness

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in loan servicing, secondary marketing, or financial services
• Attention to detail and proficiency with Excel, including navigation, sorting, and filtering
• Experience with project coordination and project management methodologies
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Professionalism, collaboration, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Business and technology aptitude, willingness to learn

Nice to Have

• 1-3 years of project coordination experience
• A good understanding of project lifecycle methodologies and project management processes
