Consumer Loan Officer - Credit Union

About the role

Responsible for providing consumer loan services to credit union members, including underwriting loans, processing applications, and maintaining relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite loans based on creditworthiness and financial stability
• Process loan applications efficiently and accurately
• Maintain positive client relationships through excellent customer service
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in lending or customer service
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Skills

• Knowledge of credit scoring systems
• Experience with loan processing software
• Strong attention to detail
