About the role
Customer Service Representatives are responsible for managing orders from the company's customer base. This involves answering calls and emails, sending confirmations and notifications, processing orders, and coordinating with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Answering telephone and email inquiries, resolving customer needs, and supporting internal employees.
- Order processing: taking orders via email or phone, entering them into the ERP system, and following up until the order is shipped and billed.
- Communication with the Technical Sales Representatives, Credit Department, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Management Team.
- Handling customer complaints, documenting them, and implementing corrective actions.
- Communicating with new customers, setting up new accounts in the ERP system, and providing forecasts to the Supply Chain.
- Coordinating with the Pricing Team to set up new products and pricing in the ERP system.
- Improving order entry processes to enhance service levels, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
- Building relationships with supply chain, logistics, and sales teams.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in customer service or a related field.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems and basic PC skills.
- Good math and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
