Consumer Lender - Support

We are looking for a dependable Consumer Lender - Support specialist to join a financial services team in Porterville, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity focuses on electronic banking support, account research, digital banking administration, and client service in a high-volume operational setting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable handling multiple banking processes while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness. This role offers the chance to support both internal operations and customer-facing banking services in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Manage daily electronic payment activities by reviewing transactions, balancing accounts, and maintaining accurate general ledger support. • Handle outbound payment file processing, recurring transfer setup, and related adjustments to keep banking operations running smoothly. • Research and resolve payment exceptions, returns, disputes, corrections, and rejected items in a timely and accurate manner. • Monitor operational reporting, investigate discrepancies, and take action to clear outstanding issues across banking and deposit activities. • Create and maintain online banking access for new users while assisting existing customers with troubleshooting and account support. • Administer treasury management services for business clients, including payment origination tools, wire capabilities, fraud prevention services, and account controls. • Support remote deposit and positive pay functions by reviewing submitted files, validating activity, and addressing processing concerns. • Provide responsive customer service to clients and internal teams by answering questions, resolving service issues, and escalating complex matters when needed. • At least 2 years of experience in banking, lending support, electronic banking operations, or a related financial services role. • Working knowledge of loan administration, loan origination, mortgage processing, or mortgage lending support functions. • Experience handling deposit-related activities such as bank deposits, cash deposits, check deposits, or payment collection support. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues. • Proven ability to reconcile accounts, review reports, and identify discrepancies with a high level of accuracy. • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Proficiency with online banking support, operational systems, or treasury-related banking tools is preferred.
