Consumer Insights Intern
Job Summary
This internship offers hands‑on exposure to how consumer research is designed, executed, analyzed, and translated into actionable insights that inform innovation, marketing strategy, and commercial decision‑making. IFF is seeking a motivated and analytically curious Consumer Insights Summer Intern to support our Consumer Insights team. The intern will work closely with experienced Consumer Insights professionals to support research program development and execution, contributing to real projects that impact product innovation and business strategy across fragrance categories.
About the Role
The intern will gain valuable experience in all aspects of consumer research, including market analysis, trend identification, and qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. They will assist in planning and executing research studies, analyzing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Additionally, they will contribute to the development of new research initiatives and help drive strategic decisions based on consumer insights.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and execution of consumer research studies
- Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of research data
- Present findings to internal stakeholders and recommend actionable insights
- Support the development of new research initiatives and strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study (e.g., Marketing, Psychology, Business, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in consumer behavior and market trends

Schedule
