Role Summary
As the Consumer Insights Analyst, you will transform consumer, market, sales, and category data into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making across marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams. This role will gather, analyze, and interpret data from a variety of sources, while using Excel, business intelligence tools, syndicated data platforms, consumer research, and AI-powered tools to improve the speed and consistency of insight delivery.
What You Bring To The Team
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, market research, statistics, economics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in consumer insights, category analytics, market research, sales analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, dashboards, and structured data models
- Experience with business intelligence, data visualization, syndicated data, retail data, or marketplace reporting tools
- Experience designing or analyzing consumer surveys, feedback programs, or market research
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
- Strong communication, storytelling, organization, curiosity, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with Circana, Walmart Scintilla, Amazon Analytics, Vendor Central, Seller Central, POS data, or panel data (a plus)
Pay
The hiring range for this position in Schaumburg is $105,000 - $125,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
