About the role
This role provides a unique opportunity to help lead a portfolio of high-impact strategic initiatives within J.P. Morgan Chase's Consumer and Community Bank (CCB), partnering closely with senior leadership across the firm. As part of the CCB Strategy team, you will join a highly collaborative group that prioritizes learning, professional development, and mentorship. You will manage high-priority projects at the forefront of the industry, build trusted partnerships with senior business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, and drive measurable business outcomes.
You will have the opportunity to rotate across Chase's lines of business and functional groups, including Consumer & Business Banking, Credit Card & Connected Commerce, Wealth Management, Home & Auto Lending, Product & Technology, HR, and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop the strategic priorities for Chase, serving as an objective thought partner to the C-suite and other senior leaders
- Collaborate with teams across lines of business and functional areas (e.g., data science, finance, product, marketing)
- Scope and structure projects
- Lead teams in project execution to identify issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions, and quantify potential impact to the business
- Develop junior team members both formally and informally
- Develop and deliver CEO-level executive communications
- Drive growth strategies, assess new product launches, evaluate new market entry opportunities, explore partnerships and acquisitions, and initiate cross-line of business projects
Requirements
- 6+ years of diverse problem-solving and executive communications experience from strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or other internal strategy roles, including at least 1+ year of experience leading teams
- Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills – ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources
- High level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Open, collaborative, team-oriented operating style

About the team
Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans, and payment processing. The Strategy team manages mission-critical projects such as developing growth strategies, assessing and planning entry into new markets, implementing organizational restructurings, and driving operational efficiencies. Projects are typically team-based and include close collaboration with senior executives.
