About the role

As a Senior Product Associate on the Consumer Bank Shopping team, you will support the product development lifecycle by contributing to the discovery, planning, and delivery of solutions that address customer and business needs, specifically for the customer and banker experiences. You will partner closely with product managers, technology teams, and marketing to gather insights, analyze product performance, and help execute strategic product initiatives, utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground.

With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of product strategy and roadmap initiatives
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret product performance metrics to support decision-making
  • Participate in product planning activities and assist with the execution of product initiatives and launches
  • Maintain and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Be a center for knowledge with deep curiosity and interest in maintaining product controls, monitoring, and setting the standard for the team as it relates to the controls environment
  • Manage key relationships with engineering, architecture, product, control & compliance stakeholders, and data analytics to drive decision making
  • Communicate effectively and often by sharing strategy, roadmap, progress, and insights broadly and systematically, crafting narratives for different partner and stakeholder audiences
  • Act as a technical and customer problem solver by defining problems and understanding the technologies and approaches in use, as well as those needed for future plans
  • Serve as the focal point for audits and operational excellence across the organization

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product or a relevant domain area
  • Knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • A customer journey and control-obsessed individual with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with engineers and technical partners
  • Ability to translate customer and control needs into clear product delivery or technical requirements
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Demonstrated ability to build robust partnerships with Product, Experience, Tech/Architecture, and Data & Analytics teams to achieve superior results
  • Strong team player and leader who inspires action and performance, fostering a culture of collaboration
  • Ability to translate disparate insights and data sources into clear, measurable, scalable features and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment
  • Good partnership, consulting, and influence skills
  • Experience working in acquisition, digital products, online and mobile platforms, and product controls
  • Keen sense of focus on monitoring tools that lead to the overall success of the platform

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Deep understanding of a risk and controls environment, compliance, and legal engagement as key stakeholders
  • Experience rolling out mission-critical software to the field
  • Passionate and vocal, balanced with a willingness to learn and collaborate across all levels and backgrounds
  • Structured thinker with excellent written and oral communication skills, able to convey ideas concisely and impactfully
  • Ability to prioritize a large workload, manage meetings, team dynamics, and overall delivery
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view and maintain grounded, productive discussions, including with senior leadership
