Consulting Technical Manager. AI Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines and AI data platforms.
• Manage geospatial intelligence data (vectors and rasters).
• Architect and implement Oracle Databases AI-enabling data using Vector data type, RAG, and MCP.
• Implement ETL pipeline design and implementation for large-scale data systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts.
• Create and deploy RESTful APIs using Oracle API Gateway.
• Design and deploy multi-modal databases that integrate multiple data types.
• Develop DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering context.
• Implement data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices.

Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain TS/SCI with poly required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management.
• Experience with Oracle-based systems in high-volume environments.
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with containers/Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools.
• Familiarity with data security best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutions.

Desired Skills

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering context.
• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Database Certified Professional or OCI Architect Professional).
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC)-related agencies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.

Range and Benefits

Hiring Range in USD: $97,500 - $209,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
