Consulting Psychiatrist (MD/DO) - Contractor
About the role
Brightways Counseling Group is a behavioral health organization committed to providing accessible mental health services. We seek a Consulting Psychiatrist to lead our psychiatric division and ensure high standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Hire and vet psychiatric and advanced practice nursing candidates through peer interviews and clinical evaluations.
- Maintain clinical documentation timelines, quality benchmarks, and performance standards within the psychiatric network.
- Act as the primary clinical point of contact for complex client complaints or quality-of-care disputes.
- Provide secondary medication reviews and refill support during peak volume, clinician time-off, or offboarding transitions.
- Support practice optics and quality standards, training and audit supplementation, and other duties and special projects as needed.
Requirements
MD or DO (Psychiatry) with an active Oregon medical license, or eligible to obtain Oregon licensure via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Qualifications
Experience in operational psychiatry, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Skills
Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency in telehealth.

Pay
Total Earning Potential: Up to $6,000.00 weekly | Up to $312,000.00 annually
