About the role

This position provides assistance and input to management, develops and leads large multifunctional development activities, solves complex technical problems, writes complex code for computer systems, and serves as a senior source of expertise. The role may also provide sizing or budget recommendations to management.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred

Skills

  • Understanding of Azure architecture and services, including Azure Portal, CLI, and PowerShell
  • Proficiency in ASP.Net Core using C# for developing applications that interact with Azure services
  • Knowledge of Jfrog, Packer, Vault, Azure Storage, GitHub, PowerShell, Azure Key Vault, RClone
  • Knowledge of messaging patterns (e.g., publish/subscribe, queues) and experience with Service Bus namespaces, queues, topics, and subscriptions
  • Understanding of message sessions, dead-lettering, and message deferral
  • Skills in designing and implementing message processing solutions using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or other serverless computing options
  • Knowledge of message serialization/deserialization and handling formats like JSON, XML
  • Understanding of Azure storage types (Blob, Table, Queue, File) and experience managing storage accounts, containers, and access policies
  • Knowledge of data redundancy options and performance tuning
  • Strong organization, project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups
  • Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and troubleshooting complex project issues
  • Advanced communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills, with the ability to present to senior and executive management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and concise, effective communication applicable to a wide audience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources
  • Provide design input across a product
  • Work directly with customers and end users
  • Serve as the acknowledged “go-to” person on coding and technical issues
  • Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
  • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity
  • Complete complex bug fixes
  • Design and work with complex data models
  • Mentor lead software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques
  • All other duties as assigned

Pay

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $115,400 – $192,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
