The Executive Vice President serving as Consulting Practice Lead is a member of the executive team and a principal in the company’s consulting practice group, responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring successful client engagements, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Executive Project Lead for assigned client consulting teams, guiding interdepartmental teams to complete projects on time, within specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop strategic recommendations and solutions for client organizations.
  • Draft proposals and implementation schedules for long-range plans.
  • Outline project tasks and delegate responsibilities accordingly.
  • Conduct cost analysis and estimate project expenses.
  • Prepare and implement project budgets based on estimates and client needs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and report identified risks to management, including recommendations for mitigation or project termination if necessary.
  • Monitor project progress, draft and distribute progress reports, and update leadership and stakeholders.
  • Address client and project team inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, clients, and other vendors when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Directly manages project team members and subject matter experts.
  • Performance is measured by meeting client strategic and business objectives, delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, renewing client accounts, and growing client account revenue.

Qualifications

  • Management expertise in areas such as marketing, strategic planning, finance, operations, statistical analysis, human resource management, public program management, or information technology.
  • Experience in management within health and human services fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems with a deep understanding of strategic business direction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly express opinions, conclusions, and recommendations at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and a willingness to travel domestically.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in project management and/or client management software, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail in accuracy, grammar, formatting, and client deliverables.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to travel overnight throughout the continental United States.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data, using a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift for long periods.
  • Ability to use a personal credit card for occasional organizational purchases.
