CONSULTING PHARMACIST

Compensation

This position is compensated at a flat rate of $400 per in-person pharmacy review, conducted quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Provides quarterly operational, non-clinical oversight of policies and procedures related to medications at the center, including, if needed, the development and review of those written policies and procedures.
• Conducts reviews of medication storage and safety, proper medication administration, and completes a quarterly report on the status of medication related services.
• Pharmacist may occasionally communicate directly with participants, pharmacies, PCPs, and center staff on matters related to an individual participant’s medication therapy.
• Occasionally conducts in-person pharmacy reviews, lasting 2 to 3 hours quarterly.
