Consulting Nuclear Technologist - Davis Besse

About the Role

This position is responsible for planning and performing complex technical or engineering duties with some latitude for unreviewed action or decision, operating with minimal supervision. May direct or be assisted by Engineers, Nuclear Technologists, or Technicians assigned to a particular project or project phase.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical or engineering evaluations.
• Perform root cause analyses.
• Independently assess and resolve potential conditions adverse to quality.
• Prepare complex design changes not requiring Professional Engineers Registration.
• Prepare engineering and technical reports.
• Prepare involved 10CFR50.59 screens and evaluations.
• Develop and conduct training.
• Perform tasks in accordance with established expectations for nuclear safety and personnel safety.
• Serve a lead role on projects, phases of projects, teams, processes, or programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology, or
• Bachelor’s degree + 9 years related work experience, or
• Associate degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field + 11 years related work experience, or
• Certified educational experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field + 11 years related work experience.

Pay

Final pay grade will be based on applicant's experience and qualifications.
