Role:
Manager, Financial Close
Location:
- Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Remote options are available.
- Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45-minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office are expected to work 8 days per month, offering flexibility for client meetings, team syncs, and personal schedules.
- Travel Expectations: 20-40%
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related field.
- 6+ years of finance management and/or transformation consulting experience, preferably within a large consulting firm.
- Strong technical competency across R2R, Financial Close, General Accounting, and related finance processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to executive audiences.
- Experience with end-to-end R2R process design and redesign.
- Strong leadership presence with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proven project management experience (workplans, milestones, risk management, change management, status reporting).

What you'll do:
- Lead and support Record-to-Report (R2R) technology implementations, including BlackLine and similar financial close solutions. - Drive practice growth by managing revenue and margin targets for technology implementation and finance transformation projects. - Communicate complex processes, system, and people-related issues by developing polished, executive-ready presentations and recommendations. - Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, including requirements gathering, solution design, and testing cycles, to guide project execution. - Manage and coach team members, contributing to talent development and fostering a collaborative work environment. - Oversee multiple competing priorities with strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail. - Consistently uphold firm policies and support a high-quality delivery culture.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $156,000. Final salary placement will be based on several factors, including level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography, and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our bonus program.
