About the Role

Role: Consulting Manager, Business Advisory

Location: Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Office options: Hybrid or Remote.

Travel Expectations: 20-40%

What You'll Do

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor to address complex business challenges. Lead and oversee client engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes within scope, timeline, and budget, including assessments, finance transformations, vendor selection, process improvement, finance & accounting operating model modernization, and technology implementations. Identify and assist in pursuing new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and supporting pitches to secure consulting engagements. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide insights and guidance on industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative solutions to enhance client value. Optimize internal processes, tools, and methodologies to improve service delivery and team productivity. Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to improve business processes and workflows, while advising clients on AI capabilities, adoption strategies, and best practices for effective implementation. Help finance transformation and accounting executives solve complex business problems from strategy through execution, focusing on developing finance functional strategies, improving business performance, and implementing new processes and technologies. Develop executive-level presentations to communicate complex issues and recommendations across processes, systems, and people.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field of study
  • 6+ years of finance management consulting experience in finance strategy and transformation, operating model design and shared services, process improvement, program management, and/or technology implementations
  • 1+ years of people management experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI technologies and the ability to incorporate AI into workflows while advising clients on effective usage, adoption, and optimization opportunities
  • Willingness to continually take on challenging projects with new or ambiguous subject matter
  • Strong project management experience, including: workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and communicating with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clearly convey complex business concepts to executive audience free of grammatical errors, incorporating leading practices for business writing
  • Strong leadership skills and executive presence
  • Foundational skillets in data and analytics technologies (i.e., Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau, Qlik, Python, VBA, SQL, Access, etc.)

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $120,000 – $156,000 USD. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography and alignment with industry standards.
