About the role

As a Consulting Manager in the People & Organization Consulting Practice, you will split your time between client engagements and internal practice development. You will serve as an advisor to global clients on change initiatives, designing and executing customized People & Organization and Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and execute comprehensive, customized OCM strategies to drive faster adoption, increased utilization, and greater proficiency of affected employees, ensuring benefit realization, value creation, and ROI for clients.
  • Manage change readiness, adoption baselines, measurement, and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of People & Organization activities.
  • Design, mobilize, and manage a network of change advocates.
  • Apply best-practice OCM methodologies to create tailored change management approaches for clients.
  • Identify innovative ways to accelerate clients through their change journey.
  • Coach, manage, and mentor junior to mid-career consulting resources to drive high performance and results.
  • Build internal networks and partnerships to expand business opportunities and support career growth.
  • Engage in the hiring process, including evaluating and interviewing potential candidates.
  • Assist in developing thought leadership, collateral, tools, and templates for the practice.
  • Manage $1M+ in revenue and lead matrixed, cross-functional teams of up to 10 members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, organizational development, I/O psychology, communications, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 5+ years of recent experience in Big 4 and/or boutique consulting firms.
  • 5+ years of experience contributing to and leading successful OCM initiatives using a methodology-driven approach.
  • 2+ years of experience coaching and managing matrixed, cross-functional teams of up to 10 members.
  • Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent OCM certification.
  • Must reside in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in organization development/design, organizational effectiveness, culture and workforce transformation, or learning and training design, development, and delivery.
  • Experience with Configured Platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow) implementations.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to craft executive summaries and detailed reports for leadership.
  • Proven project management experience, including schedule, scope, issue, and risk management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Team player with a consistent, dependable work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and results-driven commitment to success.

Pay

The starting pay range for this role is $103,000.00–$210,000.00 across all U.S. locations. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate’s work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
