About the role
The Consulting Manager is responsible for delivery of GE HealthCare Command Center solutions, helping hospital systems create and implement advisory and technology solutions to improve financial, operational, clinical and patient safety outcomes. The Command Center Software "Tiles" dynamically optimize coordination of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide consulting services to Command Center customers to help achieve business objectives related to patient flow, quality and access
- Directly lead billable customer work with hospital executives and oversee project teams to deliver complex outcomes through technology implementation and process optimization
- Plan, lead and deliver clinical command center programs with large scope and scale, ensuring high quality delivery within area of responsibility and client satisfaction
- Manage program deliverables, timelines, risks and resource requirements
- Use sound judgement to make decisions and solve complex problems or tasks with client team or project team
- Develop and demonstrate specialized knowledge related to patient flow, quality, hospital operations and clinical practice in hospitals and non-hospital settings
- Serve as a resource for best practices and quality
- Contribute towards strategy and policy development, product roadmap and client roadmap
- Establish credibility quickly, develop deep client relationships and engage with client stakeholders at all levels including executive-level sponsors and front-line caregiver teams
- Bring new perspective on existing solutions
- Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations
- Leverage sources internal and external to own function to arrive at decisions
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Explain difficult or sensitive information; work to build consensus
- Leverage persuasion skills to influence others on topics within field
- Create new thought leadership content, develop and oversee junior team members, constantly support work to improve how work is delivered, documented and sold
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in hospital patient flow and/or access consulting serving major US health systems
- Significant experience in healthcare consulting and knowledge of hospital operations
- Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare industry and major trends in the geography in which client projects are delivered
- Demonstrated project management expertise or certification
- Experience creating impactful executive client facing communications and presentations
- Experience driving change using Change Management tools, LEAN or Six Sigma
- Experience leading teams, delivering feedback and coaching successfully
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to travel at least 80% (Weekly travel Monday-Thursday)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship for employment visas will be provided now or in the future
Desired Characteristics
- Deep analytical skills and proficiency with SSMS and Azure Data Studio
- RN, MBA or Master's Degree
Pay
$128,800.00 - $193,200.00 annually, with potential eligibility for performance-based incentive compensation including cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
